The gutter itself is attached to the fascia of your structure with heavy-duty hidden hangers.  The recommended factory spacing of these hangers is one hanger every 24 inches from end to end of the gutter.  CTHandiman.com of Connecticut (CT) and Massachusetts (MA) places the hangers every 16 inches, for better strength and durability.

The gutter is installed onto the fascia board of the house, then the gutters are pitched to maintain proper drain angles to the downspouts.  Special dies are used to punch what are called “outlet holes” into the gutter.  These outlet holes are where the downspouts attach, and they run down your house to the ground level. We attach the new drain to any existing downpipes and trench drain so the water runs underground to a lower level, away from your home’s foundation.
